Share Your Knowledge of Historic Wahiawā at Public Meeting hosted by State Historic Preservation Division

Do you know of historic places in Wahiawā?

Come to a public meeting on Tuesday, September 17, from 6-8 p.m. at the Wahiawā Library to learn more about the historic resources inventory taking place in Wahiawā.

The State Historic Preservation Division is hosting the meeting to provide the community with a forum to share their knowledge about the area and inform the comprehensive reconnaissance level survey of above ground historic resources in the town.

Identifying these resources can be a massive benefit to the community as well.  When a town knows the breadth and scope of its resources that information can be used to facilitate National Register nominations, community plans, Main Street activity and Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credits.
