Get your passport to Modernism with Docomomo US Hawaii!

The Hawai'i Chapter is proud to announce its participation in the annual Docomomo US Tour Day, a nationwide event devoted to the appreciation of modern architecture and design of the mid-20th century.

Members of the Hawai'i Chapter will lead a guided tour of 12 midcentury modern gems that hide in plain sight along a short stretch of Kapi'olani Boulevard -- dubbed the Miracle Mile in the 1950s, due to its eye-catching architectural design. Read more about it here.

You'll hear from up-and-coming designers, local professionals, and architectural luminaries such as Frank Haines and Sid Snyder on what makes Honolulu's built environment unique. Don't miss out on this fascinating tour and the chance to win an item from DWR's showroom!
